By converting the widely used 30 kW tractor with combustion engine to 20 kW highly efficient electric driven tractor, vehicle will achieve great number of improvements. With uniquely designed drive system, which incorporates multiphase permanent magnet synchronous machine with inverter designed to drive the motor as well as to charge the batteries, it could introduce a revolution in future agricultural industry. Removal of heavyweight motor and gearbox would provide enough space to place large battery pack enough for considerable autonomy.
Any traction and towing disadvantages, which incorporates combustion engines paired with gearbox, is resolved by uniquely designed electric drive system able to continually regulate traction torque. Furthermore, in applications requiring high weight tractor, additional batteries could be added to increases mass as well as autonomy of tractor. Finally, battery-invertor system would provide mobile power supply to distant powerless areas as for water pumps for irrigation or any other standard three-phase appliance.
Excessively decreased cost of use – estimated less than 7 EURO for complete electric “refuel” in comparison to minimum 60 EURO for a full tank of diesel, with the same work performance
No noise pollution in tractor operations due to lower vibrations and nearly silent work.

Idvorsky Electric in the finals of the GIST TECH I competition !
"Idvorsky Electric Tractor" reached the finals of the GIST Tech-I competition! The finalists will have the opportunity to receive mentoring and various educational courses and to compete for valuable seed capital in the finals of the competition at 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES 2016) to be hosted by University Stanford and president Barak Obama.
The GIST Tech-I Competition is an annual science and technology entrepreneurship competition that enables innovators to transform their communities through mentorship, visibility, and seed capital prizes. The competition is part of the U.S. Department of State's Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) Initiative and is implemented by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).This year, 1,075 applicants from 104 emerging economies submitted their ideas and startups to GIST Tech-I. After extensive evaluation by expert panels, and online voting semifinals, only 30 applicants have advanced to the final stage.
We are very proud to announce that our team "Idvorsky Electric Tractor" as only Serbian team succeed to qualify the idea of prototyping electric tractor drive system as valuable one to be selected in finals among such a strong worldwide competition of innovations and ideas.
